My grandfather, Ken Glass, was the fire chief of Bay Head for so many years and this past week was the one year anniversary of his passing. He passed the day before Thanksgiving last year. His sister in law Emma Lewis just passed last week, also the day before Thanksgiving. Makes it a sad time of year for my family.

I hope I can get plans together to see Bay Head again soon, sometime in the next year, it sure is a nice beach there a block from my uncle's b&b. People there are so great too. No place like it. The holly trees are amazing, Mueller's Bakery is tops, and it's just cool how people don't even lock their doors even today.

It's a special place.
